Membership in the American Massage Therapy Association provides you with dozens of benefits, including insurance to protect you, your business, and your clients. In addition to liability coverage, you can also purchase disability, health, dental, and a variety of other personal insurance policies. Once you have your coverage through AMTA, you can even access your insurance certificate right online.

The Value of Membership
Your AMTA membership and membership in the California Chapter are important.
Your membership fee and dues fee to the Chapter help to advance the profession by allowing us to participate in law and legislation outreach and provide world-class educational opportunities. The AMTA-CA law and legislation activities have been instrumental in changing the regulations that massage therapists are subject to throughout the state.
But membership in AMTA-CA is more than just having an organization lobby on your behalf, each year the Chapter hosts an educational conference with distinguished presenters to provide you with the most cutting-edge techniques and information. The annual education conference also gives members a chance to network and get to know other members and non-members from California and beyond. The California Chapter, directly and through local volunteers, hosts Continuing Education Workshops and Community Outreach Events.
