The October 25th Santa Ana workshop will include a membership meeting, during which the chapter will discuss and vote on approving standing rules to conduct online elections. See details on the membership meeting below.
The AMTA-CA chapter board will be presenting a standing rule for membership approval at our upcoming membership meeting:
Date: October 25, 2018
Time: 12:00 noon
Location: Marriott Courtyard
Address: 8 MacArthur Pl, Santa Ana, CA
This standing rule proposes that the chapter move from conducting elections at our annual meeting to conducting online elections. This process provides an opportunity for all AMTA members in California to vote for elected chapter board positions electronically. Currently over 50% of AMTA chapters are conducting their elections electronically with an increase in voter participation.
Additional information will be provided at the meeting. We are holding this meeting during the lunch break from our sports massage education event. We hope you will attend and exercise you member right to vote on this standing rule. Please contact AMTA-CA Chapter President John Lambert, firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about the standing rule change or sports massage education event.
