Event Summary
The causes of neck pain, shoulder and upper extremity pain are multidimensional and may involve physical and psychosocial factors. Successful treatments require a multi-faceted approach that may include massage, stretching, IASTM, topical analgesics, heat, ice, kinesiology taping and strengthening. In this workshop students will review commonly occurring pathologies and then practice all the aforementioned modalities and be encouraged to develop critical thinking skills to assess when in the progression of treatments each is appropriate.
This training session provides 6.0 Continuing Education Units.
