About Sparrow Harrington :

Sparrow Harrington has embarked on a journey spanning over a decade, where her unwavering passions for birthwork and bodywork have beautifully intersected. She is a dedicated Authorized Instructor of Pre & Perinatal Massage Therapy under the lineage of Carole Osborne, her beloved mentor since 2011. As a fertility and maternity massage specialist, and infant massage educator, she has witnessed the profound impact that skilled, nurturing touch plays in the transformation of her clients into parents. With a background in midwifery education, Sparrow initially embarked on a path in traditional midwifery school. However, her deep commitment to radical birthkeeping, operating beyond the confines of the medical system, led her to a transformative shift in her practice. Since 2010, she has offered her support to birthing women in hospitals and homes alike, encouraging countless families to navigate the profound journey of childbirth on their terms.

Sparrow is the proud Owner and Founder of Sparrow’s Nest, a wellness center dedicated to serving new and expecting parents in Los Angeles, California. Over her career, Sparrow has personally performed thousands of prenatal and postpartum sessions, and has thoughtfully expanded her care to include bereavement massage for those coping with pregnancy or infant loss. She has trained a talented and caring team of 10 maternity massage therapists who serve the Sparrow’s Nest community. Beyond her professional life, Sparrow is the mother of two dark-eyed, wild-haired boys. Sparrow shares the joys and challenges of motherhood, and shares her inspiring journey which includes a triumphant unassisted home birth after a previous C-section.
