About Gay Lee Gulbrandson :

Gay Lee is passionate about practicing and teaching Vodder Manual Lymph Drainage. She has been a Certified Massage Therapist in California since 1978. She graduated with a degree in Biology from Beloit College in Wisconsin. Gay Lee was inspired to become a massage practitioner due to the inability of the allopathic medical system to relieve soft tissue conditions through touch based treatments. She began with Swedish Massage (Dean Associates/NHI) and then added Orthopedic Massage (The Hendrickson Technique). It was when she heard of Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) that she found what she was really looking for. Since 1996 she has been a certified MLD therapist. In 2002 she completed her Teacher Training Course in MLD. In 2020 she founded the School of MLD to continue to teach the most comprehensive classes in the hands-on Vodder techniques.

Gay Lee’s teaching has inspired health care professionals and estheticians to address physical conditions and surgical patients with swelling related conditions that are inadequately treated at the present time by the medical community. Gay Lee has a thriving private practice in MLD and Combined Decongestive Therapy in Berkeley. She has the energy to be an innovative, dynamic and respected teacher and travels frequently to teach MLD throughout the USA. It is from this commitment that Gay Lee teaches a deep understanding of how the lymphatic system impacts the health of the entire body. MLD has a profound effect on the skin of the face and neck. Gay Lee has taught many massage therapists, health care professionals and estheticians, using effective multimedia presentations, handouts, and efficacious sequence of treatments using Vodder MLD.
